TotK Biker: the Cryder

Let me introduce you to a little contraption I built in Tears of the Kingdom: the Cryder ! (because…. tears…. cry…. rider…. OK I suck at naming things)

It’s made of two small wheels attached to a wagon wheel; the steering stick is attached to the bottom of the wagon wheel, whilst the stabilizer is attached to the axle of the wagon wheel – this allows it to act as a gimbal and the bike can pitch up and down, instead of being consistently “flat-straightened” horizontal. The mirrrors on the back wheel act as kick stands for when the bike is at rest. Just in front of the stabilizer is a dragon scale – this prevents the stabilizer from coming to rest upside down when stopping the bike, and also prevents the bike from despawning if you wander far away from it.

Why on earth would I want this, when I have my railing-hover-bike, and horses?

You see that Yunobo chappy? Rapid-firing at close range? That’s why. Also, flying the depths has become a little less satisfying now that I am actually looking for stuff on the ground like zonaite clumps, useful flora, and things to kill.

Ready? Let’s Cryde.
